for those of you with a little bit more then a fiver to spend on some serious entertainment. saturday night at the twisted pepper on abby street sees the return of the wonderful (and fit) pony girls. one of irelands longest running burlesque troupes (since the tassel club has left our fine shores). sideshow offers a world of entertainment and fun. it's 15 yoyos and promises to be some good funs. apparently there is also an ass off competition which sort of scares me.
For ye arty types or lovers of art, or those wishing to pick up some easy art chicks. then this is for you. tonight sees the opening of 'for the love of change' in Mill street studios in Dub1. A showcase of design and fine art (there is a difference) displaying wonderful pieces this is defo the place to get your art on. It's a 5-er on the door (all money to haiti) and should be good. it will run for a week, so get yer skates on...
get down to Pantibar tonight buy some cakes. indeed there is a divine bun sale there. since sample sales are thin on the ground this month, you can get stuck into the cake sale instead. apparently it's a fundraiser but our message about it was unclear as to what the funds were being raised for. no one knows. Anyway, also on is the panti and bunny show which is always worth venturing over the river for. just dont cross the hapenny bridge on your own. it's not fun kids.....
As you well know by now, partie monster has moved to SPY on south william street. It's an amazing venue and partie monster is, well, amazing. This month it's all things alice in wonderland-y. ah yes. since the Tim Burton thing is happening tommorow with the release of the movie, spy are getting stuck in. This is serious dress up fun girls and boys. it's a 5-er b4 12, and 7 yoyos after.....worth it. Also, do have a tom collins cocktail. it's the best thing you'll get for a fiver this side of the liffey......
The wonderful Davina Devine is hosting a sumo smackdown tonight in the george (where else?) and it's a fundraiser to help gay publication GCN from financial woes. So head along for Sumos, the smackdown, the drinks, the davina and in general to help out. should be some fun!we are running a competition : to whoever comes up and introduces themselves to us (if you see us on a night out) we will hand over some lovely make-up to the winner. if we really really really like you. then we will take your pic to go up on the blog along with us.
